Chris Thurston
Chris brings over 25 years of consulting experience working as a brand, marketing, and business strategist for national and international consumer and business-to-business companies. His focus over the last decade has been digital strategy, growth marketing, customer experience, sales and channel enablement, and marketing automation.
Chris currently serves clients as a fractional CMO, a brand and marketing strategist, as well as a project lead on several large digital marketing initiatives.
Early in his career, over the course of 20 years, Chris launched and built RightMinds which became one of the larger marketing consulting and advertising firms in the mid-Atlantic.
While he spent most of his career consulting, at one point, one of his larger clients made him an offer he couldn’t refuse, to head up global B2B digital marketing for Hamilton Beach Brands. In that role, he spent five years client-side building a digital marketing department that drove all brand, marketing, and digital strategy, customer experience, customer-facing technology, as well as sales and channel enablement for the food service and hospitality division. With his team, he marketed an array of commercial products in over 100 countries around the globe. This has given him tremendous client-side understanding and empathy for the challenges that all marketing organizations face.
Chris is a firm believer in leveraging data-driven marketing and customer service technology to enhance the impact of a brand as well as the customer experience 24/7/365, and automation to exponentially increase sales, engagement, efficiency, effectiveness, measurability, and responsiveness in the marketplace.
